Notami Privacy Policy

Notami (the "Application") is a mobile conference companion app developed by Melvin Mathew ("Service Provider").

All features of Notami are account-based and user-specific, including:

  • Event creation and management
  • Attendee management and connection tracking
  • Real-time note-taking and follow-up reminders

Because your events, notes, and contacts are private and securely stored to your account, login is required to use the Application. This ensures your data is safely synced, accessible across devices, and protected against unauthorized access.

Notami does not collect personal information unrelated to its core functionality and never provides access to any user data without consent.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Device Internet Protocol address (IP address)
  • Pages of the Application you visit, including time and date
  • Time spent on the Application
  • Mobile device operating system

The Application does not gather precise geolocation information.

We may collect the following personally identifiable information to enable account-based functionality:

  • Name
  • Email
  • User ID
  • Profile picture

This information is stored securely and used only for app functionality, including syncing your events, notes, and contacts.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses trusted third-party services that have their own privacy policies:

Account Deletion

Users can delete their account at any time directly from the app:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

When an account is deleted:

  • All user-provided data (events, attendees, notes) is permanently removed from our servers.
  • Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.

We do not require users to contact support to delete their account.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by uninstalling the Application. To remove all user-provided data, use the Delete Account feature in-app.

Data Retention

We retain user-provided data only as long as your account is active or as required to provide the service. Deleted accounts and associated data are permanently erased.

Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has created an account, we will immediately delete the account and associated data.

  • Encrypted HTTPS connections
  • Secure account-based storage
  • Procedural and electronic safeguards
