Notami Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the Notami mobile application (the "Application"), developed by Melvin Mathew ("Service Provider").
By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Application.


1. Account-Based Application

All features of Notami are account-based and user-specific, including:

  • Event creation and management
  • Attendee tracking and note-taking
  • Post-event follow-up and reflection

Because all data is personal and securely stored to your account, login is required to use the Application.
Users can sign in using:

  • Google Login
  • Sign in with Apple

2. User Responsibilities

By using the Application, you agree to:

  1. Provide accurate information during account creation.
  2. Maintain the security of your login credentials.
  3. Avoid unauthorized copying, modification, reverse-engineering, or extraction of the Application's source code.
  4. Not use the Application for any unlawful purpose.

If you jailbreak or root your device, you may compromise its security and the Application may not function correctly.


3. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account at any time directly from the Application:

Settings → Account → Delete Account

Upon deletion:

  • Your account will be immediately deactivated and marked for deletion.
  • You will no longer be able to access your account or data.
  • All data, including events, attendees, and notes, will be permanently removed from our servers within 90 days.
  • Account deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone.

We do not require users to email or call support to complete account deletion.


4. Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services for authentication and functionality, which have their own Terms & Conditions:

By using these services in Notami, you agree to their respective Terms.


5. Internet and Device Requirements

  • Notami requires an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) to function.
  • The Service Provider is not responsible if the Application fails to function due to poor connectivity or depleted mobile data.
  • You are responsible for any mobile data charges, including roaming charges.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure your device remains charged and functional.

6. Data Privacy

All data collected is handled according to the Notami Privacy Policy.
We prioritize user privacy and never sell personal data.


7. Updates and Availability

  • The Application may receive updates to improve functionality or security.
  • The Service Provider does not guarantee compatibility with all future versions of your device's operating system.
  • The Service Provider may discontinue the Application at any time, with or without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider strives to ensure the Application is accurate and reliable.
However, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from:

  • Use of the Application
  • Data loss due to user actions (including account deletion)
  • Reliance on information provided by the Application

9. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time.
You are responsible for reviewing the latest Terms.
Continued use of the Application after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
